Welcome back for week two of Uptown Friday Nights. In our second installment, the heroes from the Jaycees will risk life and limb to battle a villian that is terrorizing Cedar Rapids: Doctor Thirst! How will they accomplish such a daring feat, you ask? With their secret weapons live music and beer, and with help from their friends in THE ENTERTAINMENT SQUAD!

Join us at 5:00 in Greene Square Park for all the action. This week the Jaycees will join forces with the Entertainment Squad's house band, Party Mix Specialists (You're gonna have a good time!). The Party Mix Specialists are the only band in town who have mastered the super-funky disco set, which causes large groups of people to shake their booties uncontrollably.

This bootie shaking signals our favorite superhero, Beer Guy! Beer Guy, along with his sidekicks the Mike's Girls, will respond by flooding the park with cold, refreshing, Miller Lite and Mike's Hard Lemonade. Doctor Thirst won't stand a chance!

But, good citizens of Cedar Rapids, we need your help! The Entertainment Squad's sponsors will spread the word about this battle of good and evil, but Mix 96.5, 100.7 The Fox, and Mediacom cannot win this battle alone. We must all do our part to ensure that thirst does not ruin our summer!

We must all join the fight! We must all band together in Greene Square Park and shake our booties to the musical stylings of Party Mix Specialists! Only then can we signal Beer Guy to bring us Miller Lite. And only then will Doctor Thirst be defeated.
