If you are old enough to attend Uptown Friday Nights, then you are old enough to remember the 80's. Even if you wanted to, who could forget bands like Motley Crue and Poison? Who would want to forget music like that? I certainly wouldn't, and neither would this week's band, Skin Kandy. To quote the band directly, "Skin Kandy is all about the golden era of what is Hair Metal". That pretty much says it all.

Join us tomorrow from 5 to 8 to relive what is either the best or the worst era of music, depending on your taste. (You know what they say, there's no accounting for taste). Kristen Murphy from Mix 96 1/2 will be hosting the event and will announce the next winner in the Summer Of Fun. This week the prize is an autographed guitar from the Go-Go's.

AT&T; Broadband won't have any cameras this week, but that's OK. They have earned a break after taping last week's Swing Crew show. That show is airing on local cable channel 10 throughout the month of July. (It's actually on right now. I'm watching it as I am typing this. Aren't laptops great?)
