You gotta love the folks at Mix 96 1/2. Against all good judgement they invited the Jaycees to do Office Olympics with Gary and Kristen. Our event was "Sell Me This", and we managed to sell them a stuffed doll, a bottle of water, a spork (that's a combination fork and spoon), and Kristen's plant. It was a lot of fun (and the FCC didn't call) so we will chalk it up as a success. If you missed the show this morning, we should have some clips available on the website soon, and the station will be playing highlights throughout the week. Thanks again to Erin Bristol for masterminding the event, Gary and Kristen for allowing us in their studio, and Daredevil Danny for, well, being Daredevil Danny.

Aside from being a good reason to skip work, our radio appearance gave us a chance to promote tomorrow's Prelude to Uptown Friday Nights. Bad Actors will be playing at 3rd Street Live from 5 to 8. The cover is still five bucks, and you still have to be 21. Come on out (or "in" this week) and enjoy another great band. Oh, and I promise I won't be on stage this week.
